August 08, 2:00 - 8:00 pm
The guys met at the church at 2:00 pm and went canoeing/kayaking. The cost was only 5 bucks, since Brad found a fellow employee that had all the equipment and lives on the river. We then went swimming at Brad's and came back to the church to spend time with the girls. |

August 22, 5:00 - 10:00 pm
We met at Eltzroth's house for a fun evening of games and food. Humongous slip & slide!! Water fights and more! The smoked ribs, pulled pork and corn was fantastic!
The youth brought swimsuits or shorts & top for water fun, and a towel and change of clothes.
Eltzroth's house is at 10445 Wilder Rd, Chardon and is the fifth house on the right, north of Rt. 6 on Wilder Rd. It is the house with a split-rail fence in front. |
August 28, 5:00 pm - August 29, 7:00 am
Murder at Vold Castle (at the church)
Visitors to this historic fortress discovered their host, Baron von Schnell, had been killed...& every guest was a suspect! As they acted out their roles, they experienced the same intrigues & conflicts lived out by Saul & David. Who did it? It was the chef!!!
We stayed overnight at the church. We played a variety of games, including an intense game of dodgeball. Some stayed up to watch "Old Dogs".
Brad, Laura and Denise did a great job with the evening's food and Mike supplied the breakfast. No one went hungry! |

August 15, 6:30 - 9:00 pm

July 25, 6:30 - 9:00 pm
We traveled to Chip's Clubhouse to play putt putt golf. Over 20 youth came and we had a great time! Some of us ended the evening with ice cream at King Kone. It was gooooood.
